A beautiful wine, Ente's 2018 Meursault Clos des Ambres unwinds to reveal aromas of pear, orange oil, wheat toast, chamomile and subtle hints of praline. Medium to full-bodied, bright and incisive, with lively acids and chalky structuring extract, it's an elegant, nicely concentrated rendition of a cuvée that I've always particularly enjoyed chez Ente. I suspect it will develop very nicely with some time in bottle. - WA

This is aromatically similar to the straight Meursault villages but with more prominent floral nuances. The solidly concentrated medium-bodied flavors brim with sappy dry extract and excellent richness to the palate coating and nicely powerful finish. This appealingly textured effort is quite tightly wound and will need time in bottle to fully mature. - BH

Attractive pale lemon with a rather classy, albeit discreet nose. The fruit absolutely blossoms across the palate, white fruit with floral notes and a little touch of lime as well, really elegant, properly mouth-filling, and very long indeed. - JM
